چکیده

Holding a lasting balance between the water resources and demands has become challenging task for managers, especially in recent years with looming global warming crisis its resulting climatic change effects. This paper focuses on modeling optimized operation of Zayandehrud Reservoir, located west-central Iran, under two fifth-generation climate scenarios called RCP4.5 RCP8.5. A novel variant gravitational search algorithm (GSA), named adaptive accelerated GSA (AAGSA) is proposed adopted as optimizer reservoir this paper. The major advancement AAGSA against original high exploration capability, allowing proposal to effectively tackle variety difficulties any complex optimization problem can face. goal process maximization sustainability supplying downstream by reservoir. optimal results obtained algorithms suggest that achieve much more accurate less computational runtime, such able index 98.53% 99.46%, RCP8.5 scenarios, respectively. These figures are higher than those 23.5% 16% RCP8.5, respectively, while runtime reduced over 80% both compared GSA, suggesting competence solve high-dimensional real-world engineering problem.

Developing Self-adaptive Melody Search Algorithm for Optimal Operation of Multi-reservoir Systems

Operation of multi-reservoir systems is known as complicated and often large-scale optimization problems. The problems, because of broad search space, nonlinear relationships, correlation of several variables, as well as problem uncertainty, are difficult requiring powerful algorithms with specific capabilities to be solved. In the present study a Self-adaptive version of Melody Search algorith...
